🧷 Pressing / Variant Details

- SEX1-2A / SEX1-2B

✔️ Sleeves Comparison
(Left = Pistols Pack version, Right = Original sleeve)
SEX1-1
・GSTQ: Same design, but noticeably more blue 😓

・Pretty Vacant: Almost identical to the original

SEX1-2
・Holidays: Infamous sleeve 😅 (I actually quite like it 😆)

・My Way: Brighter than the original (or maybe just paler?)

SEX1-3
・Something Else: Slightly darker than the original? 🤔

・Silly Thing: Nearly identical to original

SEX1-4
・C’mon Everybody: Basically the same

・TGRRS: Uses the original sleeve—no way they could’ve kept the AmEx logo 😅

SEX1-5
・Stepping Stone: Near match

・Anarchy: Original-style sleeve! Looks almost bootleg-ish 😆

SEX1-6
・Black Leather: Cool sleeve matching the lyrics—would’ve been even better with stronger colours. I like it so much I display it on top 😘

・Here We Go Again: Totally unrelated artwork—doesn’t even have the Pistols logo…

“I’ll Knock Him Dead With My Shiniest Leather Outfit!” 😅
✔️ Labels
All six records share the same label design in different single-tone colours.

🧷 Collector’s Notes
- Although these singles had been released before, “Black Leather / Here We Go Again” were officially issued for the first time here.
I still wish we’d get a proper CD release for these two… ☺️ - The six singles are housed in a vertical plastic case.
Despite some light yellowing and cracks due to age, mine’s in fairly good nick!

🇫🇷 There’s also a French pressing, though I don’t have it. From Discogs photos, it looks like the label colour is the main difference.
🇬🇷 The Greek pressing is a box set, not plastic, and titled “The Sex Pistols Box” (VG 8008–VG 8013).

Same content, but the sleeves are pretty poor—like cheap colour photocopies 😣
I’ll review those another time!
🔜 Coming Up Next
In the next post, I’ll be covering two bootleg singles related to The Great Rock ’n’ Roll Swindle!
Stay tuned!
