🧷 Collector’s Notes
This box brings together some of the earliest Sex Pistols bootlegs—most of which had very little standalone value.
The total pressing is unknown, but you rarely see these in circulation. Likely a small run.
According to Shinko Music’s Archive Series Vol.3, the box was released between 1989 and 1991.

A similar 2007 reissue titled Never Trust A Hippy (HIPPYBOX001) was later released with paper sleeves and a booklet, making this box’s only real collectible points the outer case and Where Were You In ’77? CD 🤔

Sound quality? Terrible throughout—definitely for die-hard fans only.
And one more thing:
It’s said the “GOB” in the catalogue number stands for God Save the Queen Bootlegs… but who knows for sure?
Also… why were so many early bootlegs spelling Belsen as Belson? Maybe that was the correct one all along 😅
🔜 Coming Up Next
Next time:
We’ll cover another bootleg box: London’s Outrage!
Stay tuned!
byebye 👋
