🧷 Pressing / Variant Info

✔️ Matrix / Runout Etchings

VS-272-B-1 A PORKY PRIME CUT

✔️ Sleeve

Artwork by Jamie Reid

Back features a film still and the phrase ROT’N’ROLL

Laminated sleeve for 1st press; later versions came with non-laminated finish

A 3rd press with extra glossy laminate is rumoured—mine is glossy too, but I’m curious what “super glossy” looks like!

✔️ Label

Full colour Swindle picture label

Some variations have a yellow solid-colour label

Minor variants include a black mark around the “I” in “SWINDLE”, or even misprints like missing “THE” in the title

🧷 Collector’s Notes

✔️ Rarity & Price (As of July 2025)

Standard (small hole) version trades for €7–15 depending on condition and sleeve.

A large-hole “jukebox” version is scarcer and usually goes for €20–40.

Variants with misprints or matrix phrases like “MR ROTTEN SINGS” are also floating around, often slightly pricier.

✔️ VICIOUS BURGER

The phrase evokes old urban legends about celebrities being eaten… yes, really 😅

But in reality, you’ll just find tasty-looking hamburgers if you Google it today!

✔️ ROT’N’ROLL

The back sleeve includes a pseudo-manifesto text beginning with “ROT’N’ROLL” and phrases like:

“PUNK’S SLOGANS ARE – CASH FROM CHAOS –”

“ANARCHY IS THE KEY, DO IT YOURSELF IS THE MELODY”

A raw snapshot of late-‘70s punk attitude and its chaotic philosophy. Total punk.

🧷 Next Up

Next time: No One Is Innocent / My Way (Virgin VS 255) – another TGRRS-related 7″!

Stay tuned 🎶
