This post introduces another item from my Sex Pistols collection.
I recently obtained a copy of The Biggest Blow / My Way with its original Japanese obi strip, which I had previously covered on this blog.
This time, I’ll be focusing only on the obi strip, rather than the record itself.

The obi strip features text across its entire surface, making it a notably information-rich design.

At the top of the obi, a period-specific catch copy typical of Japanese releases is printed.
✔ Liner notes
There is no separate insert.
Instead, liner notes written by Kensho Ohnuki are printed directly on the lower section of the obi strip.
✔ Lyrics
The reverse side of the obi includes the song lyrics in English.
