Poster
A collage poster with track-by-track commentary from the band.
Japanese translation of the commentary
Having it translated is a nice touch.
T-shirt
It should include a white T-shirt with a collage of stills from the “God Save The Queen” video, but mine fell apart after a few washes.
With a T-shirt in a set like this, it’s really one or the other — wear it and accept it won’t last, or keep it sealed. Mine’s more than thirty years old now, and it’s long since gone missing.
✔️ Box & Obi
The box holds the CDs and the T-shirt, with an obi strip included.
It’s a wrap-around obi covering the whole back panel, printed with the Japanese track titles.
Sadly, like the T-shirt, the box and obi have gone missing too.
If you want to see what it looks like, a quick image search on Discogs and the like will show you. I’ll add proper photos here if I manage to track one down again.

✔️ What’s on the best-of, exactly
- 1–8: the A and B sides of the original singles
- 9 & 10: two live favourites with Johnny Rotten on vocals (from TGRRS)
- 11–18: the Never Mind The Bollocks tracks, minus the singles
- 19: the Sid Vicious vocal, represented here by “My Way”
- 20: “Silly Thing” in Steve Jones’s vocal version

Being a limited edition, this set comes with a CD of the Trondheim show, recorded 21st July 1977.
Official release or not, both the performance and the sound quality hold up well.
Sid’s even keeping fairly disciplined on bass — for once.
✔️ How does it compare to the UK edition?
The UK 2CD (CDVX 2702) also comes boxed, but Disc 1 is a standard jewel case while Disc 2 is a digipak.
The sleeve doubles as part of the poster. It’s a size smaller than the Japanese one, and the back carries the same track commentary.
Live shots are used as a fold-out inner sleeve.
